We do government training better

“Melinda doesn’t just teach leadership—she empowers you to step into it with confidence and clarity from day one.

I had the pleasure of taking Melinda’s Effective Leadership course in July 2025, and it was a truly transformative experience. From the very first session, Melinda’s engaging teaching style made leadership principles feel not just accessible, but immediately actionable.

What I learned has already made a measurable difference—especially in my public speaking. Her techniques have been a gamechanger for my confidence and presence, and I’m putting them into practice for upcoming presentations to leadership.

Melinda has a gift for creating an environment where growth feels natural and achievable. She blends deep expertise with genuine encouragement, inspiring you to lead with both skill and authenticity.
I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from her and am already looking forward to the next course.

Melinda is not just an excellent instructor—she’s a catalyst for leadership growth.”

“I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for such an engaging and insightful class!

The content was informative and interesting but what really stood out was your ability to keep the session dynamic and hold my attention throughout the two days.

Your examples, delivery and real-world connections made the topic not only easy to follow but I genuinely enjoyable to learn.

I’m not sure how exactly you did it! But please send other classes you teach.”

“This has been one of the most enjoyable training experiences at CMS and I have been here 25+ years.

  • You provide great information!!!

  • Ask participants with experience to share personal experiences

  • You share great short but very informative videos to break up any potential monotony and keep in so interesting!

  • You are so knowledgeable you could just speak so much off the top of your head, it is so impressive to hear and watch

  • YOU HAVE 10 minutes breaks each hour!!!!! Oh my gosh that blessed me!  It gives you a minute to REFRESH (attention span…lol), check emails, return a call, grab coffee, restroom break throughout the entire day versus watching your clock for lunch or 2 short breaks during the entire day.  And you took the breaks SERIOUS, versus some trainers not understanding the need.

  • You prepared us for the EXAM!!! Bless you!  It really gave us the opportunity to focus on enjoying the training!!!

  • Even giving us the option to have conversations in the chat or verbally, as long as we stayed engaged was so appreciated!

This Project/Product Management stuff is all new to me…  I appreciate you and your training style!!!”

“I wanted to send a quick thank-you for leading CMSDACT FPM 131. The way you taught through scenarios and your personal case studies made the fundamentals feel concrete and easy to apply. The templates you walked through - especially the Kanban examples - gave me a few tools I can plug into my own work right away for workflow visibility and prioritization.

Also, you have a really approachable facilitation style on Zoom. It kept the group participating and made it easy to ask questions and learn from the discussion.

Good luck on your upcoming courses, and I hope to see you again in a future class.”
