Focuses on the legal considerations in the procurement process — the basic principles and sources of law relevant to procurement, including fiscal law and intellectual property. Addresses the legal issues that arise over the life of a contract: protests, assignment of claims, disputes, fraud, contractor debt, performance issues, and contract termination, building the legal and ethical grounding that applies to Government contracts. A FAC-C elective taught by an instructor with a law degree.
