Sexual Harassment Prevention Training — Delaware
This course provides Delaware's required sexual harassment prevention training for employers with 50 or more employees. Built to comply with Delaware's House Bill 360, which amended the Delaware Discrimination in Employment Act (DDEA), it delivers the interactive training the law requires — for both employees and supervisors.
You'll cover the illegality and definition of sexual harassment under Delaware law, with clear examples, the conduct the law prohibits, the legal remedies and complaint process available, how to contact the Delaware Department of Labor (DDOL), and the prohibition against retaliation. Supervisors and managers receive additional training on their specific responsibilities for preventing and correcting harassment.
This course is taught by a Certified Mediator with a law degree and U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) mediation experience, delivering the content Delaware mandates in a clear, respectful, and genuinely useful way, allowing all participants to feel welcome and comfortable.
Compliance Requirements
Delaware sets specific training obligations for covered employers. Here's what your organization needs:
Delaware employers with 50 or more employees: Must provide interactive training to all employees within one year of hire, and to supervisors within one year of taking a supervisory role — then repeated every two years. This course satisfies that requirement under House Bill 360.
Notice requirement (4 or more employees): Delaware employers with four or more employees must also distribute the Delaware Department of Labor's official sexual harassment information sheet to employees. (Ask us how we can help.)
Best for: Delaware employers with 50 or more employees, and their employees, supervisors, and managers — meeting the mandatory sexual harassment prevention training requirement under Delaware's House Bill 360 and the Delaware Discrimination in Employment Act.
Format: Two-hour supervisor training / 1.5-hour employee training. Interactive group training. In person or virtual.
Pricing is set per engagement. Contact Phoenix Canyon to request a quote.
