Sexual Harassment Prevention Training — New York State
New York has one of the strictest harassment-training laws in the country: every employer, regardless of size, must provide interactive sexual harassment prevention training to all employees every year. This course was built to fulfill that requirement, delivering training that meets the standards of Section 201-g of the New York Labor Law and the New York State model training program.
You'll cover what sexual harassment is under New York and federal law, the conduct the law prohibits, the remedies and forums available to victims, and the complaint and reporting procedures every workplace needs — delivered interactively, as New York requires. The course reflects the State's current standards, including bystander intervention and how harassment can occur in the remote workplace, over virtual platforms and messaging apps. Employees come away understanding their rights, and supervisors come away understanding the heightened responsibilities the law places on them.
This course is taught by an instructor who is a Certified Mediator with a law degree, delivering the content New York mandates in a clear, respectful, and genuinely useful way, allowing all participants to feel welcome and comfortable.
